Location Miri

So far all is well on the expedition in Borneo.  After a long flight via Kuala lumpa we landed in Miri. This week has been an acclimatisation phase. The following day we travelled to the Similajau national park and I took the team through an introductory jungle day. We went on a short trek and went through the safety kit and various scenarios. Yesterday we travelled up to Niah caves for a round trek of 9kms and saw the caves. Today is admin before flying up to Kota kinabalu tomorrow for the next phase. Follow me and the teams exploits on Twitter @Mtnexploits

Offski to Borneo

Today has been a pack, unpack, pack again type of day.  Comments of "it can't weigh that much" and such like.  I am off as an exped leader for World challenge taking a group to Borneo.  We have the build up day on Sunday then fly out on Monday.  You can keep up to date with our exploits via my Twitter account or I will blog when I get the chance.  Here's to getting together on my return.  Check out my Trail cycling and GPS pages for forthcoming dates.
Chaos!
