Garmin Foretrex 301
Went out for my training run over the moors this afternoon so took the Garmin Foretrex 301 with me just to gather some stats.
A good little GPS unit and can be used on the run even though you have to allow a few seconds to calibrate.
Useful to bear in mind the position you have it in as if it is out to the side the direction will change when you bring it in front of you.
The West Pennine Moors are a splendid area for walking and recreation. This shows Jubilee Tower in the distance just above Darwen.
