| Nitting Haws |
Thursday afternoon saw me take the afternoon out and have a trip up Nitting Haws. A pleasant Grade 2 scramble behind the village of Grange in Borrowdale.
Whilst having a lunch at the top the cuckoo could be heard in the valley. Very pleasant. As Rory McGrath would say 'join us again for another glorious day in the Lakes.'
It was all topped off by a fish and chip supper from Broughton chippy. A five star chippy that has won awards.
