Catbells and Ghylls

This week I am doing some freelance work in Cumbria.  The past two days have been glorious in the Lakes.  Yesterday saw us take a trip up the Newlands valley and back over Catbells and in the afternoon we went Ghyll scrambling in Honister Ghyll.  Today the group I was working with wanted a full 'Mountain' day along with ice cream.  So we took a trip over Catbells and along to Hollows farm before dropping into Grange for ice cream by the river along with a good stone skimming contest.  Tommorrow sees me on a double Ghyll session, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, but that should be okay, it's due to pour down!
