Kit review

I recently purchased a Montane featherlite thermo smock, another 'bombproof' piece of kit from Montane.  Uber lightweight its ideal to keep as a 'warmers' top in my rucksack on the challenge events and makes an ideal lightweight top to put in my fell running sac. It provides the warmth when things get chilly late into the night and also after 20 miles and you need a warm top while you have a quick brew before finishing the last 10 miles it's ideal just to whip out. All of this is of course IMHO.

I've also been using a pair of Asics Gel Torana which I got as in the dry weather I just wanted a bit more cushioning whilst out on the trails and moors.  I've found them to have a real good grip and they have been working equally well in the wet mud.

All in all it's busy times at the moment as the season is now in full swing I've been out doing some Duke of Edinburgh work, along with working on stuff for Mountainexploits, and of course the swim is this month so getting the training in for that, I'm heading towards my sponsorship total so if you could help please visit my justgiving page. Thanks.
