After returning from Bavaria, I was welcomed back to a slightly damp Lake District but still had a real good week. Included in the week was some good mountain walks and a bit of an history tour of mining in the Lake District with a ghyll scramble thrown in. It also gave us the chance to deliver a bushcraft session in Whinlatter forest which is a great venue for this and has some good areas that allow us to show shelter building and do some forest skills. This week I am working down at Cadshaw rocks aka Fairy battery on a school residential.
On another note, if your interested in the GPS side of things, the European Space Agency is having an exhibition at the Farnborough Space show as part of the Space Hall.
