Yesterday we went along to watch the first day of the 30th anniversary of the Siberian Huskey Club Rally just off Loch Morlich, Aviemore. A super event to watch and get to mingle with the teams and find out what it's all about.
Then today I did a round of Sgor Gaoith in Glen Feshie. There was alot of rain overnight and the temperature increased slightly so there has been a thaw at lower levels. Going up from Auchlean the snow became firmer around 650m and the wind increased. By the time I was on the tops I had some great views and even a bit of sunshine but then the strong winds and snow came in. So the afternoon was spent naving accross the tops. The snow on the tops is still very firm.
