Spring Skiing on Raise, Lake District

A good day today, been meaning to have a ski at Raise for some time but one thing or another has always got in the way.  So watching the website the lift was running today so took the opportunity to get up there.  Alright it's not the Alps but with the weather and conditions today it wasn't far off.  You have to become a member of the Lake District Ski Club for insurance purposes along with this you get your lift pass.  There is a very good little club house where you can have your lunch and believe it or not a proper loo.  You can have a really enjoyable day up there and the guys where saying the skiing may go on till the end of the month, coincidentally its 6 months to the day today that the slopes have been open on Raise this season.  I'll hopefully be getting up there again later on.
