Today was day 2 of the school residential with a group climbing and abseiling at Cadshaw. A lovely little place to have a go at climbing or pass a couple of hours cracking some short routes with perfect views and peace but only a stones throw from the road. Last night we got soaked but today it pretty much stayed dry.
Once back home, it was time to go for a short run on the edge of the moors. Some good work is being done to sort out the Witton Weavers path. Alot of the boggy areas above the Whitehall area have been replaced with stone and some paving which will help create a sturdy path and hopefully stop the peat erosion.
