GPS updates

So last week saw me working freelance on a school residential delivering some climbing sessions down at Cadshaw rocks again.  Great little venue and the weather was pretty kind to us as well.  This week I am back up the Lakes working with some clients delivering some navigation sessions.  A couple of folks are going onto big things later in the year and just want to refine their skills so we are having a day out in the Lakeland fells.
On another note GARMIN have brought out a new 'wrist worn GPS navigator' the fenix.  It looks the part and according to their publicity has been designed with the help of mountain professionals.
Magellan have brought out their version of a website for people to upload and share their fitness activities, this is called the Magellan active.  I use the Garmin connect website for my uploads but no doubt they both serve the same purpose.
If you haven't found it yet GARMIN have also got a fitness app for android and iphone, cost 69p and it utilises your smartphones GPS.
