Butterflies, Buddleia, Ghyls and spills
So over the past week we have had some cracking weather in Cumbria, due to this whilst working out in West Cumbria everyone was commenting on the amount and variety of butterflies there were knocking around. This was great to see especially due to the concern we have in the UK over the butterfly population, encouraging news.
On another note Mountainexploits ran a fell running experience day but this particular one was centred around navigation. We were down in Ennerdale. These days are normally based out of Keswick and make use of the Coledale area and also back in Lancashire around the Tockholes and Darwen side of the West Pennine moors. To end last week, with the splash of rain we had on Thursday night Honister Ghyl was nice and 'toppers' for some good sport on Friday.
