Community interpreter

Friday was the assessment day to join the NHS sponsored Community interpreter course which gives a level 3 qualification.  So having sat my grammar assessment and interview the course starts for real on Monday.  There is another Russian speaker on course so that's great as it allows a good opportunity to practise my russian and hopefully pick up a load more language skills.  Now I'm busy doing some 'cramming'.
On the outdoor front, the week has been good with the lovely weather in the Lakes although somewhat chilly in the mornings, scraping the car the other day.   Been in and out of Stoneycroft ghyll which has been good fun as well as doing some archery and orienteering sessions.  This coming week, as well as college, I've got some mountain days during the week, you never know may even see some snow on the tops.  Here's hoping!
